  • Get introduced into Bay Insurance
    Send registration SMS to 20886

    The registration SMS should be sent in the following format:
    Reg#ldNo.#fullname#DOB#spouse#numberofchildren#introducernumber
    Send message to 20886
    (e.g.; Reg#1875146#David Ngei Mumo#18/8/1963#1#2#0722750950)
    Receive registration confirmation SMS, with premium payment information.

    For example:
    You have been registered with BAY; your account number is 123456789. Send Ksh.1,350 to pay bill 886900 to activate your insurance. (Minimum Premium – 3 Months X Kshs. 450)
    Send money to Safaricom Paybill number 886900
    Receive insurance activation SMS, detailing length of cover.

    For example:
    We have received Ksh.1,350 for account 123456789. Your personal accident insurance has been activated and is valid for 90 days until 31/11/2014. For help: contact our customer care on 0721 886 900.

    Accident Medical bills for the first amount of Kshs. 1,000/= are payable by the insured. UAP will settle all expenses incurred above Kshs. 1,000/= up to the limit cover
    The insurance cover will start on effect of the date of monthly payment. Premium once paid is not refundable.
    Your insurance becomes effective 48 hours after you receive confirmation through SMS.

  • Level 1
    Once payment has been received from the person you have recruited into the insurance, automatically your Bay Insurance Commissions Account is credited with 5% commission of the amount paid.
    This is your level 1 commission
    Level 2
    Should the person you recruited in level 1, recruit someone else and payment is received. Your Bay Insuarance Commissions Account will be credited with 2.5% commission of the amount paid.
    This is your level 2 commission
    Level 3
    Should the person recruited in level 2 recruit someone and payment is received. Your Bay Insurance Commission account will be credited with 1.25% commission of the amount paid.
    This is your level 3 commission
    Level 4
    Should the person recruited in level 3 recruit someone and payment is received. Your Bay Insurance Commission account will be credited with 0.625% commission of the amount paid.
    This is your level 4 commission
    Level 5
    Should the person recruited in level 3 recruit someone and payment is received. Your Bay Insurance Commission account will be credited with 0.3125% commission of the amount paid.

  • HOW DOES ONE CONTRIBUTE?
    Remittance of contributions is due monthly by the 10th day of each month
    Go to Safaricom menu
    Go to M-Pesa menu
    Select Lipa na M-PESA
    Select Pay bill
    Enter Pay Bill No. 886900
    Enter your account number
    Enter amount required
    Enter your PIN No.
    Review details and press send (Confirmation will read sent to BAY INSURE)
    HOW TO CHECK YOUR STATUS ON THE INTERNET?
    Visit our website, click on login link. Fill in details as specified
    If you have accessed the page before, just enter your mobile number and password to access your current reports.
    To get a new password that will grant you access, do the following:
    1. Click on Get a New password link (located at the bottom of the login form)
    2. Enter the mobile number that is registered in your BAY insurance account
    3. Click the "GET PASSWORD" button
    4. A password will be sent to your mobile
    5. Log in with your Mobile number and password
    You will then be redirected to your reports page where you can access statements on your commissions, redemptions and insurance payments.
    QUERIES via SMS
    Below are ways you can interract with our platform to get information:
    STATUS: Check the current status of your insurance(whether active or dormant). This is done by sending an SMS with the word STATUS only to 20886

    COMMISSION: Check the TOTAL COMMISSION accrued as per the current date. This is done by sending an SMS with the word COMMISSION only to 20886

    REDEEM: You have an opportunity to redeem your commissions. If your application meets the minimum standards(check below), you will receive a confirmation via SMS. Money will be sent via M-PESA. This is done by sending an SMS with the word REDEEM#AMOUNT only to 20886.
    Kindly note the amount should be a number representing the amount of money you want.
    NOTE
    There will be a standing balance of Kshs.100 on all redemptions
    Redemption on commissions can only be made if they are greater than Kshs.500
    Borrowing of loans is only applicable where balance is greater than Kshs. 5,000. (You can borrow up to 3 times of balance greater than Kshs. 5,000 and up-to 2/3 value of your PAC)
    Payments on claims will be done on the 15th of every month. (M-Pesa charges apply)
    Insurance claims are settled immediately. All documents provided.
